We are currently looking for an experienced and driven Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to manage our maintenance team and ensure the optimal functioning of our facilities, machinery, and equipment. The ideal candidate will be tasked with creating and executing effective maintenance strategies, overseeing a team of technicians, and guaranteeing the reliability and efficiency of our operational assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Oversight:
  • Formulate and implement detailed maintenance plans to enhance equipment performance and minimize operational interruptions.
  • Work alongside various teams to synchronize maintenance efforts with broader business goals.
2. Team Management:
  • Recruit, mentor, and lead a skilled team of maintenance professionals.
  • Encourage a collaborative and positive workplace culture, emphasizing continuous improvement and innovation.
3. Preventive Maintenance:
  • Establish and oversee preventive maintenance initiatives to prolong equipment lifespan and mitigate unexpected failures.
  • Set and evaluate key performance indicators to assess the success of preventive maintenance activities.
4. Troubleshooting and Repairs:
  • Direct the identification and resolution of equipment issues, ensuring prompt and effective solutions.
  • Develop and maintain streamlined processes for addressing breakdowns and emergencies.
5. Budget Oversight:
  • Create and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring resources are utilized efficiently.
  • Provide regular financial updates and justifications for maintenance-related expenses.
6. Compliance and Safety:
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Conduct routine safety evaluations and foster a culture of safety within the maintenance team.
7. Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process enhancements and best practices.
  • Stay updated on advancements in maintenance technologies and recommend necessary upgrades.
8. Vendor and Contractor Coordination:
  • Engage with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance services.
  • Negotiate agreements, monitor service performance, and ensure compliance with established standards.
9. Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain precise records of maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment performance metrics.
  • Prepare regular reports for management, highlighting performance indicators and areas for potential improvement.
Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial maintenance, or a related discipline is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrated experience in a maintenance management capacity, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal capabilities.
