Job Summary

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is seeking a skilled Per Diem MRI Technologist to join our Radiology team at our freestanding outpatient facility in Westchester, NY.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of M.R. and x-ray imaging procedures that require independent judgment and resourcefulness within an outpatient center that specializes in breast cancer imaging.
  • Utilize advanced imaging technology to capture high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of imaging protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and communication, ensuring a positive experience for all patients.

Requirements

  • Requires degree from a 2-year AMA-approved Radiology school or a 1-year MRI technologist program.
  • NYS license in Radiologic Technology.
  • ARRT registration (MRI) (R), and MRI certification (MR).
  • Multimodality/CT experience and certification a plus.

Working Conditions

  • Flexed shifts between 8am – 6pm, Saturdays & Sundays, with weekday availability a plus.
  • Possible holidays, as needed.

Compensation

  • Pay Range: $60.00-$65.00/hr.
