Pharmacy Technician

Ascension is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Ascension St. Vincent's Clay County Hospital in Middleburg, FL.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to pharmacists and assist with dispensing medications.
• Refill and maintain automated dispensing systems.
• Prepare orders and maintain inventory for the Pharmacy department.
• Prepare sterile and non-sterile compounds.
• Repackage bulk medications.
• Receive and store incoming supplies.
• Triage incoming calls and serve as a liaison between pharmacy, patient, and health professionals.

Requirements:

• Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or Registered Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Florida Board of Pharmacy.
• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
