Intelligence Systems Maintenance Specialist

Position Overview:
This role is contingent upon contract award. Amentum is looking for an Intelligence Systems Maintenance Specialist (Hardware) to provide support for an upcoming Global Intelligence Logistics and Engineering Support contract.

Job Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will oversee operations within a logistics support and Intelligence Maintenance Support Activity (IMSA). Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing on-the-job training and skills enhancement programs for logistics and maintenance teams.
  • Conducting production control and quality assurance within the IMSA.
  • Forecasting, scheduling, and workload management within the IMSA.

The role also involves:

  • Installation, integration, configuration, and preventive maintenance of complex Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems.
  • Supporting various intelligence disciplines including SIGINT, GEOINT, HUMINT, and more across multiple operational environments.
  • Managing the installation and modification of computer hardware and software within intelligence architectures.
  • Conducting inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on advanced antenna and radio frequency distribution systems.

Technical Proficiencies:
The candidate will utilize specialized test measurement and diagnostic equipment (TMDE) to perform tests on electrical and electro-mechanical systems, including:

  • Harmonic distortion tests and impedance measurements.
  • Pre and post-flight inspections on Aerial-Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Systems (A-ISR).

Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a U.S. government Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI), and may be required to undergo a polygraph examination. The minimum educational and experience requirements include:

  • A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution with eight years of relevant experience in MI Systems maintenance and integration, or
  • An Associate degree in electronics with ten years of specialized experience in MI Systems Maintenance and Integration.

Additionally, candidates should have a minimum of eleven years of experience with maintenance and integration of at least two specified systems.
