Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

The University of Vermont Health Network is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team. Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and ensure that patient care plans are being followed by clinical staff under your supervision.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of certified nurse aides or unlicensed assistive personnel.
  • Provide leadership, coordination, and evaluation of assigned unit healthcare teams and services.

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be accountable for performing a range of tasks and responsibilities, including case finding, health teaching, health counseling, provision of supportive and restorative care, administering medications, and providing nursing treatment. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care and achieve outstanding outcomes.

Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of practice.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of nursing principles and practices.
