Position Summary:

The Home Health Aide (HHA) delivers essential personal care and companion services to clients, following a tailored care plan to enable them to remain comfortably in their homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Personal Care:
    • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, skin care, oral hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation.
  • Companionship and Household Support:
    • Provide companionship and respite for families, along with performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry.
  • Medication Assistance:
    • Support clients in managing their self-administered medications.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Completion of a state-approved Home Health Aide or Certified Nurse Aide program.
  • Minimum of six months experience in a similar role.
  • Good standing on the State Caregiver Registry.
  • Pass a competency exam with a minimum score of 80%.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
