- We are looking for a skilled Mobile Mechanic Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will inspect, maintain, and repair construction vehicles and heavy equipment/machinery using hand and power tools and appropriate lifting equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using hoists and hand tools to perform repairs and replacements.
- Operate and inspect machines or heavy equipment to diagnose defects and ensure compliance with manufacturers' specifications.
- Clean, lubricate, and perform routine maintenance work on equipment and vehicles to ensure optimal performance.
- Read and understand operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- A valid driver's license and good driving record are essential for this position.
- You must be able to stoop, bend, crouch, and crawl; use hands, arms, and legs fully; grasp, manipulate, and assemble small objects.
- Lift up to 50 pounds with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing 50 pounds.
Education and Experience:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with two to three years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
