Drainage Engineer

Job Summary:

Crawford, Murphy & Tilly, Inc. is seeking a talented Drainage Engineer to join our Surface Transportation Team. As a key member of our team, you will support our Northern, IL operations and have the opportunity to experience new challenges in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Surface Transportation Team in Northern, IL
• Collaborate with engineers, planners, and other design professionals to deliver high-quality projects
• Develop and implement stormwater design solutions for northern Illinois
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in hydraulic modeling and stormwater design

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
• 5 years of engineering experience with emphasis on hydraulic modeling
• Stormwater design experience in northern Illinois
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to secure Illinois PE within 6 months of hire

Preferred Requirements:

• ENV SP; CPESC; CFM; or ability to acquire
• FEMA permitting and INDR-OWR experience

Computer Skills:

• Proficient in HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and Microsoft Office
• Bentley Open Roads or Autodesk Civil 3D software, HY-8, XP-SWMM, SRH-2D
