We are seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN specializing in the Emergency Room to provide exceptional patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Certification Requirements- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC
- Specialty: Emergency Room RN
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Primary Role: Deliver care to patients in the Emergency Room setting
- Experience in providing care across all age groups, from pediatrics to geriatrics
- Ability to manage typical presentations in the Emergency Department
- Experience collaborating with a Charge Nurse on each shift
- Competence in interpreting Telemetry/Monitor Tech strips
- Available Shifts: 7a-7p, 10a-10p, 7p-7a
- Self-scheduling options available
- Manager typically handles scheduling for traveling staff
- Weekend and Holiday Requirements: Fill in as needed
- Orientation: Department-specific orientation for 1 hour
- Trauma Level: Critical Access, ASRH designation by the state
- Bed Capacity: 14 regular beds, 2 large trauma bays
- Common Patient Types: Diverse cases from pediatrics to geriatrics
- Support Staff: 1 CNA assisting in patient care
- Telemetry Monitoring: RNs required to interpret their own strips
- Charge Nurse may take on assignments as needed
- 1 CNA serves dual roles as ward clerk and CNA
- RNs must be adept with telemetry monitoring
- Nurse to Patient Ratios: 1:3-5 based on assignment
- RNs may be requested to assist in MSP and ICU
- Key Traits for Success: Motivated, self-starter, dedicated to excellence, and a strong commitment to patient satisfaction
- Radius Rule: 50 miles; candidates must not be employed full-time, part-time, or PRN with any associated facilities
- Request Time Off: Must be submitted upfront (7 or fewer days per 13-week contract); additional requests will not be approved
