As a Member Engagement Specialist, you will play a crucial role in shaping the Member Experience. You will be the welcoming face of our fitness community, the first point of contact for members as they enter our facility.

To excel in this role, you must possess boundless energy and exceptional multitasking abilities. A positive, cheerful demeanor coupled with strong communication skills is essential. The role requires versatility; you will be guiding potential members over the phone, preparing refreshing smoothies for current members, and ensuring an outstanding experience for all.

Ideal candidates for the Member Engagement Specialist position will demonstrate the following qualities:

  • A genuine passion for assisting others.
  • A cheerful and positive attitude.
  • Strong communication skills with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Focus on enhancing the member experience.
  • Punctual, responsible, and detail-oriented.
  • CPR/AED certification is preferred.
  • Previous experience in retail or hospitality is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming and checking in members upon arrival.
  • Effectively resolving customer inquiries and issues.
  • Promoting membership sales and retention.
  • Following up with potential members.
  • Marketing in-store merchandise, including smoothies and fitness products.
  • Maintaining a safe and clean environment for members and staff.
  • Opening and closing the facility as scheduled.
  • Adhering to company policies and procedures.

All Member Engagement Specialists are required to wear the company staff uniform, consisting of a staff shirt paired with khaki pants or black athletic pants. Sneakers are mandatory; boots, heels, or sandals are not permitted. A neat and well-groomed appearance is essential.

Note for Opening and Closing Staff: Opening team members must arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled opening time to complete all necessary preparations. Closing team members are expected to finish their duties at the designated closing time.
