Diesel Mechanic Job Description

As a Diesel Mechanic at Path Engineering, you will be responsible for performing tractor and trailer repairs, maintaining vehicles in accordance with industry standards, running diagnostics, and collaborating with the team to meet company goals.

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent, with 3+ years of hands-on experience with diesel engines and hydraulics

  • Proficiency in manual machining skills, blueprint reading, quality inspection, PLC troubleshooting, creating preventive maintenance plans, electrical schematics, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, hydraulics, and troubleshooting industrial automation equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks such as kneeling, stretching, reaching, and turning
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a service-oriented approach to team members, vendors, and manufacturers
  • Valid driver's license for conducting road services when needed
