School Aide Position

Amergis is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Aide to join our team. As a School Aide, you will work closely with students who require instructional and behavioral assistance in a special education setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist students with IEP objectives, including math, reading, speech, and independent skills.
- Facilitate teacher-directed learning activities, such as lesson plans, worksheets, and reinforcement systems.
- Communicate effectively with teachers and other staff members to ensure student needs are met.
- Accompany students during recess, lunch, and community experiences.
- Adhere to confidentiality requirements and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience working with children with special needs preferred.
- Ability to effectively communicate with students, teachers, and other staff members.
- Computer proficiency and basic math skills required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
