We are seeking a dedicated Transportation Associate to join our team at Anthology Senior Living. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe and reliable transportation services to our residents, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and safety standards.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to read and write in English, and hold a valid state drivers' license with no major driving violations for the past three years. They will also be required to undergo regular training and evaluation to ensure they meet the necessary standards for this role.
Main Responsibilities
• Drive company-owned vehicles safely and efficiently
• Assist residents with special needs during transportation, including carrying packages, opening doors, and assisting residents in and out of vehicles
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on designated vehicles, including checks on tires, brakes, and other critical systems
• Communicate effectively with residents, colleagues, and supervisors to ensure seamless transportation services
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, mileage, and fuel consumption
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience driving a bus with wheelchair lift and working with seniors
• Valid and applicable state drivers' license and no major driving violations for the past three years
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to read and write in English and comprehend basic mathematics
