Operating Room Nurse

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Operating Room team in Medford, Massachusetts.
Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our Operating Room. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented group of healthcare professionals and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient operating room workflow.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, physical condition, and surgical needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the surgeon and anesthesiologist.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any changes or concerns.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure clear understanding of patient needs and care plans.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in Operating Room nursing.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Massachusetts.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience in Operating Room nursing, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
