About the Role:

As a Mission Reliability Engineer at Relativity Space, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability of our rockets and spacecraft. This involves working across all engineering disciplines to identify and mitigate technical risks, develop robust solutions, and implement processes to assess manufacturing issues and evaluate changes to vehicle configuration.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform independent assessments of subsystem and system designs to develop understanding of vulnerabilities and associated risk
  • Drive architectural decision making across engineering functions to improve vehicle reliability
  • Identify technical deficiencies across the program and implement solutions to mitigate excess risk incurred during design, build, and test
  • Lead root cause investigations of significant anomalies during test/launch operations and drive corrective actions
  • Develop processes and tools to assess manufacturing issues, manage technical risk, and evaluate changes to vehicle configuration
About You:

We are looking for an experienced engineer with a strong background in reliability analysis, systems safety, and mission assurance. You should have a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field and at least 2 years of experience in a similar role. You should also have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
