Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hospitalist Physician to join our team on a locum basis. As a Hospitalist Physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a hospital setting, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a hospital setting, including admission, evaluation, and management of patients
- Work closely with our multidisciplinary team, including nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients, taking into account their unique needs and circumstances
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure seamless transitions of care and optimal patient outcomes
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve patient care
- Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Current licensure to practice medicine in Virginia
- At least 2 years of experience as a Hospitalist Physician
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
