Job Summary:
Mannington Mills is seeking a skilled Rubber Forming Specialist to join our team. As a Press Operator, you will be responsible for inserting rubber preforms into a press, removing cured rubber, and hand-trimming waste.

In this role, you will:
  • Read and understand schedules while using a computer interface to record production
  • Insert and remove rubber weighing up to 15 pounds into a press at 300°F
  • Trim and hand-stack cured tiles
  • Perform quality checks before and after material curing

Requirements:
To succeed in this position, you must have strong communication skills, a teamwork mindset, and the ability to work in tandem with another associate. Rotation among positions with Waterjet Operator, Tile Punch Press Operator, and Refining Mill is required. Overtime may be needed.

Physical Demands:
This role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift. You must also adhere to all safety policies within Mannington, The Rubber Plant, and specific to the job being performed.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year
