Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Accounting Professional with experience in performing financial audits. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct audits of various city departments and ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field from an accredited college or university
- At least 2 years of professional experience performing financial audits
- A current Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification in Louisiana may be substituted for one year of the required experience
