Geospatial Technician

Join our team at Ducks Unlimited, Inc. as a Geospatial Technician and contribute to the conservation of wetlands and wildlife.

We are seeking a highly skilled Geospatial Technician to join our Western Regional Office in Rancho Cordova, CA. The successful candidate will work with our GIS team to update the National Wetlands Inventory within the western United States.

• Update the National Wetlands Inventory using ESRI products and GIS data development
• Assist with various GIS projects throughout the western United States, Alaska, and boreal Canada
• Collaborate with biologists and other staff to provide conservation planning, GIS modeling, mapping, and graphics support
• Develop and maintain GIS systems and databases

• Bachelor's degree in a natural resources field of study
• Experience using ESRI software products, including ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS Online
• Strong understanding of GIS concepts and methodologies
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

This is a paid internship with a competitive hourly rate of $20.00. The position is full-time for 1 year (12 months) and requires working at our regional office in Rancho Cordova, CA. We offer a dynamic and supportive work environment with opportunities for professional growth and development.
