Physical Therapist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at our state-of-the-art Inpatient Rehabilitation facility in Ocala, FL.

Job Summary:

The Physical Therapist will provide comprehensive physical therapy services to patients within an inpatient hospital setting, evaluating patients, developing customized treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions aimed at improving patient mobility, function, and overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough physical therapy evaluations and plans of care for patients admitted to the inpatient unit, including assessing mobility, strength, coordination, and functional ability.
  • Supervise physical therapy assistants and rehab techs.
  • Create, implement, and modify tailored therapeutic interventions to improve patients' functional abilities and achieve their therapy goals.
  • Provide direct physical therapy services, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, gait training, patient and family education, and use of therapeutic modalities.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress, treatment plans, and therapy outcomes in accordance with legal and organizational requirements.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in the use of electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
