Job Summary

Stryten Energy is seeking a highly skilled Janitorial Specialist to join our team in Manchester, IA. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our building and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities
  • Perform all cleaning functions of the building, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors, as well as cleaning restrooms, locker rooms, and break rooms.
  • Operate power wet scrubbers and other cleaning equipment to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Dispose of trash and recyclables in a responsible and environmentally friendly manner.
  • Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including dusting, polishing, and cleaning windows.
  • Assist with special projects and events as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to read, write, and perform simple math.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to follow safety and health procedures for the protection of self and co-workers.
Working Conditions

Will be exposed to extreme hot, humid, and cold working conditions. Will be exposed to lead in the form of dust, fumes, molten lead, flames, hot equipment, moving equipment, and other hazards.
