Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Geriatric Neurospychiatry team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients with complex mental health needs. Your expertise will be essential in assessing patients' needs, planning and implementing nursing interventions, and evaluating their effectiveness.
Responsibilities- Assess patients' needs and develop individualized care plans
- Provide and implement nursing care interventions, including medication management and education
- Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing care interventions and make adjustments as needed
- Lead and participate in multidisciplinary teams to provide patient-centered care
- Teach patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment options
- Maintain a commitment to professional growth and competency through ongoing education and training
- Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferred
- No experience required, one year medical/psychiatric experience preferred
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Basic computer skills and ability to use electronic medical records
