This role demands a professional with a solid history in litigation, especially in jury trials, and the capability to manage a substantial caseload efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the complete lifecycle of cases in state and federal courts from initiation to resolution.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trial preparations, including discovery processes and scheduling depositions.
  • Engage with clients to formulate case strategies and initiate legal actions.
  • Draft and respond to written discovery requests.
  • Coordinate and attend depositions of fact witnesses.
  • Identify and collaborate with relevant experts, including participation in expert depositions.
  • Organize and attend all necessary court hearings.
  • Prepare for and participate in mediation sessions.
  • Ready cases for trial and represent them through to verdict.
  • Draft and submit necessary post-trial motions.
  • Participate in file audits, attorney meetings, and trial preparation clinics.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of legal staff.
Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Active license to practice law in California.
  • Proven ability to manage a significant and active caseload from initiation through to verdict.
  • Demonstrated success in providing leadership and mentorship to a team.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in litigation.
  • Established track record of success in jury trials.
