About the Role

The Manager of Electrical Engineering will oversee the electrical design aspects of our data center facilities, ensuring optimal performance, efficiency, and scalability. This individual will be responsible for leading and managing electrical engineering initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead electrical engineering design efforts for our data centers
  • Oversee the design of electrical systems for new data center facilities
  • Develop and implement electrical engineering standards, processes, and best practices
  • Collaborate with IT, operations, and project management teams for complete coordination of electrical infrastructure
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, regulations, and safety protocols
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for electrical performance, reliability, and efficiency
  • Collaborate on budgets, schedules, and resources for engineering projects
  • Identify areas for improvement in processes and procedures, implementing corrective actions
  • Work with 3rd party consultants and vendors to ensure compliance with Basis of Design and Company Standards
  • Review Design Drawings, Specifications, and Shop Drawings submitted for owner's review
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Professional Engineering license preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in data center engineering
  • Proven track record of successfully completing data center design projects
  • Strong knowledge of data center electrical systems, including Substations, Emergency Generators, UPS, Lithium Ion Battery Plants, and Fire Alarm
  • Familiarity with EPMS and/or SCADA Systems, ability to develop controls sequences and monitoring protocols
  • Experience with large-scale, high-density data centers and cloud infrastructure
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $170,000-$190,000, based on factors like market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we provide a variety of benefits to support your needs, including:
