Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Job Post Solutions. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems for various projects, including healthcare, commercial, and industrial facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop mechanical systems, including HVAC systems, using Revit and CAD software
  • Manage and assist with work on all phases of mechanical engineering projects, from design development to construction administration
  • Provide project team coordination and ensure design intent is incorporated into construction documentation and specifications
  • Prepare detailed plans and specifications, substantiated by calculations and thoughtful engineering solutions
  • May use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited four-year college or university
  • Licensed Engineer (PE); strongly prefer licensure in the state of Tennessee
  • Minimum of seven years' experience as a mechanical engineer in consulting services
  • HVAC systems design experience, client-level interaction, and industry knowledge required
  • LEED Accreditation preferred
  • Ability to demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to interact professionally and comfortably, building and maintaining excellent interpersonal relationships
  • Demonstrated experience using Revit, CAD; proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of mechanical engineer principles, practices, and techniques
  • Knowledge of building materials, construction methods, building codes, and regulations
