Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Telecommunications Representative to join our team at UR Medicine Thompson Health. As a Telecommunications Representative, you will be responsible for operating our telephone control board and paging system, dispatching incoming calls, and paging internal/external and on-call clinical staff during and after regular business hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate the telephone control board and paging system to efficiently manage incoming calls and page internal/external and on-call clinical staff.
• Coordinate the operation of various telecommunication systems within Thompson Health System, including telephone, voice mail, pager, cell phone/Nextel phones, and public address paging system.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information, including patient and staff information, and adhere to all relevant policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
• Previous operator/switchboard and customer service experience required.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of MS products required.

Pay Range: $20.00 per hour. Starting pay based on experience.
