We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Housekeeper/Laundry Associate at Willow Haven Healthcare & Rehabilitation, a leading long-term care and skilled nursing community. As a member of our community team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents.

Job Summary:

This is a part-time day shift position that includes hours every other weekend. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to housekeeping and laundry, including cleaning and sanitizing resident rooms, common areas, and equipment. You will also be responsible for restocking supplies and maintaining a clean and organized laundry area.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform housekeeping duties, including cleaning and sanitizing resident rooms, common areas, and equipment
  • Restock supplies and maintain a clean and organized laundry area
  • Operate laundry equipment and perform laundry duties
  • Assist with maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Previous housekeeping experience or ability to be easily trained
  • Basic knowledge of chemical cleaning products
  • Understanding of life safety principles
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
