Extrusion Technician

We are seeking an experienced Extrusion Technician to join our team at Aerotek. As an Extrusion Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining all records pertinent to a successful production run, including quality control and production control records. You will also package and process all finished products in compliance with standard procedures, remove finished products from the production area to designated staging or storage areas, and operate all equipment related to obtaining, packaging, processing, weighing, and storing finished products.

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of production runs, including quality control and production control records.
• Package and process finished products in accordance with established procedures.
• Ensure efficient and safe removal of finished products from the production area to designated staging or storage areas.
• Operate and maintain all equipment related to production, including machinery and tools.
• Weigh and process sub-standard products generated by a production run.
• Assist and train operators in the use of equipment and procedures.
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and attend required training sessions.

• Machine operation experience, including plastic manufacturing maintenance.
• General labor experience, including high voltage experience.
• Preventive maintenance experience on a variety of machines.
• PLC experience and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and control panel operations experience.
• Robotics automation and extrusion machine operation experience.
• Extrusion process knowledge and production experience.
• Mold and extruder assembly experience.
