Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Apprentice Electrician to join our team at Southland Industries. As an Apprentice Electrician, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced electricians and learn the skills necessary to become a journeyman electrician.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend apprenticeship classes and training sessions to develop your electrical skills and knowledge.
  • Assist experienced electricians with electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
  • Perform tasks identified in the relevant journeyman job description, including plumbing, pipefitting, and sheet metal work.
  • Participate in additional assignments and projects as requested by supervisors.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience in the E1 classification.
  • Basic skills of lower E-rating job title (E1) required.
