Night Shift Registered Nurse

Berkshire Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Night Shift Registered Nurse to join our team.
Job Summary:The Night Shift Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to our residents, working closely with the nursing team to ensure seamless care delivery. This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires strong communication and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and documenting patient information.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct regular rounds to assess patient needs and ensure timely interventions.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to regulatory requirements and facility policies.
- Assist with medication management, including ordering, stocking, and disposing of medications.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the nursing supervisor or facility leadership.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds, with frequent standing, walking, and bending.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
