Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants for PRN opportunities within our Hospitalist team.
Shift Availability:
Both day and night shifts are available to accommodate various schedules.
Role Responsibilities:
The Hospitalist team is responsible for delivering comprehensive inpatient internal medicine care. Key duties include:
- Admitting patients and conducting thorough physical examinations.
- Ordering diagnostic tests and interpreting results.
- Performing hospital rounds and developing discharge plans.
- Maintaining accurate medical records in accordance with established policies.
- Contributing to departmental goals while adhering to quality and safety standards.
- Submitting timely and accurate charges for all professional services rendered.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- A minimum of 1 year of acute inpatient experience as an advanced practice provider.
- A strong skill set in inpatient care.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
- The capability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- A commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
- Active licensure and certifications including CPR, DEA License, and BLS/ACLS.

Work Environment:
Our Hospitalist team consists of 14 providers, with night coverage by 3 providers. We utilize EPIC for electronic medical records and have excellent subspecialty support.
