We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide Ostomy care to our patients in Genesee County and Lapeer County. As a Home Health Certified Ostomy RN, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide Ostomy care to patients in their homes
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
Requirements:
  • Current Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
  • Minimum one (1) year of Home Health nursing experience (preferred but not required)
  • Graduated from an accredited WOC nursing education program
  • Prior work experience as Wound/Ostomy consult RN working with interdisciplinary healthcare team members
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills to provide competent, compassionate care to all ages of the population
  • Strong communication skills both verbal & written
  • Updated Tuberculin (TB) test and current CPR certification required
  • Clear Criminal History/Drug Screen
  • Compassionate and caring demeanor, excellent communication skills ability to think critically
  • Ability to travel within service area of AdvisaCare as needed
