Position Title: Physician - Psychiatrist Outpatient BHIP
Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Salary: Competitive and negotiable
This role qualifies for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), which provides reimbursement for student loan payments. Candidates must fulfill specific eligibility criteria in line with VHA policy and submit their EDRP application within four months of their appointment.
Essential Qualifications:
- Citizenship: Candidates must be U.S. citizens; non-citizens may only be considered when there are no qualified citizens available as per VA Policy.
- Medical Degree: A Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution in medicine or osteopathic medicine is required.
- Licensure: A current, unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in any U.S. State, Territory, or Commonwealth, including the District of Columbia, is mandatory.
- Residency Completion: Successful completion of residency training in psychiatry is essential.
