MedBridge Healthcare is seeking an experienced Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) to work in our sleep laboratory on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in polysomnography and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Conduct polysomnographic studies and collect data
• Prepare equipment, record activities, and analyze results
• Follow proper polysomnographic procedures, including the use of electrodes, sensors, and calibration of equipment
• Analyze clinical events, such as respiratory and cardiac episodes, and tabulate final data for review
• Ensure compliance with regulations and laws concerning safety and control

• High school diploma required
• Completion of an accredited Polysomnography program preferred
• NY PSG and/or CRT/RT license(s) also preferred
• Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) in the State of NY preferred, but NY PSG and/or Respiratory Therapist license(s) required
• Current BCLS certification

• The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and sit, talk and hear
• Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus
• The employee is required to use his/her hands to operate office equipment
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
