Job Summary

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and customer service. You will assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including dispensing medications, processing prescriptions, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in the dispensing of medications and processing of prescriptions
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries
  • Operate pharmacy systems and cash registers
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering of pharmaceuticals
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 6 months of experience in a retail environment preferred
  • PTCB certification preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
