Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Primary Care Physician to join our team at Adelphi Staffing. This is a contract position that requires a strong clinical background and excellent communication skills.

As a member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct medical care to students at our residential training facility in Devens, Massachusetts. You will be responsible for conducting medical exams, diagnosing and treating illnesses, and providing referrals for specialized care.

Responsibilities and Expectations

* Conduct thorough medical exams and diagnose and treat illnesses
* Provide referrals for specialized care when necessary
* Coordinate and administer immunizations and manage the detection and control of communicable diseases
* Implement protocols for the prevention and management of infectious diseases
* Monitor and support the continuation of care for students receiving external medical services
* Develop, implement, and monitor health and wellness programs to support students' wellbeing
* Advise the facility staff on medical and health-related matters, including staffing, medical separations, and patient care
* Oversee ordering, safeguarding, and accounting of health equipment, supplies, and medications
* Review health policies, monitor expenditures, and adjust as necessary to maintain budgetary compliance
* Issue and update Health Care Guidelines in line with organizational and state requirements

The estimated salary for this position is around $120,000 - $150,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
