Multidisciplinary Imaging Specialist

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Multidisciplinary Imaging Specialist to join our team at Christus Health. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced technologist to operate in two or more imaging modalities, producing accurate diagnostic examinations and possible interventional procedures.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, ensuring the completion of designated areas or procedures as required. They will also be expected to coordinate and prioritize procedures during the workday to maintain a high level of patient care and continuity.
Responsibilities:
- Meet the expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
- Demonstrate competency in a variety of diagnostic procedures in more than one modality.
- Program the computer to assure completion of exam and all scan data is correctly stored on an optical disc for future reference.
- Coordinate and prioritize procedures during the workday to maintain a high level of patient care and continuity.
- Evaluate charges correctly coded and entered in the billing system.
- Demonstrate competence with all age-specific groups to ensure proper completion of studies.
- Maintain compliance with all policies, procedures, and standards as outlined by State and Federal agencies, the hospital, and other regulatory entities.
- Protect the confidentiality of patients and do not solicit or disclose any confidential information.
- Adhere to the Core values of CHRISTUS Health.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must have a Graduate degree in Radiology Technology or an accepted equivalent. Additionally, you should be Registered or Registry-eligible in secondary modality and complete the requirements to become registered within two years of performing the secondary modality. A minimum of one year of experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred, while three years' experience in a clinical Imaging setting is highly preferred.
