Opportunity:
- The role necessitates expertise in managing both inpatient intensive care units.
- The medical team is dedicated to ensuring a superior patient experience while utilizing the latest treatment modalities and healthcare services. Available services encompass a complete pulmonary function laboratory, spirometry, chest imaging, electrocardiograms, oximetry, and Endobronchial Ultrasound.
- The position of ICU Medical Director comprises 0.2 FTE for administrative duties and 0.8 FTE for clinical responsibilities.
- Administrative tasks include implementing workflows, establishing quality metrics, addressing inquiries, conducting quality case evaluations, and reporting directly to the Chief Medical Officer.
- The ICU operates on a closed model.
- This is a full-time position with a call rotation schedule (night calls occurring 2-3 times monthly, including some weekends).
- No overnight shifts required (24/7 Critical Care Coverage).
- The outlined schedule includes:
- 1 week per month in the ICU.
- 1 week per month for pulmonary consultations.
- Weekend coverage is required once every 4 to 5 weeks.
- 2 weeks per month in the office (if certified in Sleep Medicine, one day per week will be allocated to the Sleep Center).
- Salary range to be discussed during the interview process.
- Additional stipend for administrative responsibilities.
