Traveling Catheterization Laboratory Technologist

Nurses First Solutions is seeking a skilled Catheterization Laboratory Technologist to join our team of healthcare professionals.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cath Lab Technologist to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting in the performance of diagnostic and interventional procedures, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities- Assist in the performance of diagnostic and interventional procedures, including coronary and peripheral angiography, and electrophysiology studies.
- Maintain and troubleshoot equipment, including catheters, guidewires, and imaging equipment.
- Ensure a safe and efficient work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency.
- Current certification as a Catheterization Laboratory Technologist (CRT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting.
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
