Join Our Team as a CNA/HHA

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant/Homemaker Assistant to join our team at BrightStar Care of Lawrenceville. As a CNA/HHA, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients and their families.

About the Role

This is a full-time position, working Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm. As a CNA/HHA, you will provide high-quality care to our clients, including bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting activities, and assisting with daily tasks such as feeding, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.

Responsibilities
  • Provide care as directed by a nursing supervisor, including bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting activities, and assisting with daily tasks.
  • Assist with feeding, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
  • Provide transportation to doctor appointments, outdoor activities, and shopping.
  • Assist with height and weight measurements, if necessary.
  • Record vital signs and provide care according to the patient's plan of care.
Requirements
  • A current, valid state certification and in good standing.
  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • Successful completion of a nursing assistant program.
  • Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray.
  • Minimum one (1) year of documented health care experience is required (unless participating in an approved Mentor Program).
  • Licensed driver with insured and reliable automobile.
