Role Overview
The Registered Nurse (RN) operates within the framework established by the American Nurses Association (ANA) to deliver high-quality nursing care. Qualifications Required
- Associate's Degree in Nursing is mandatory.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required within five years of hire.
- Candidates from non-accredited nursing programs must possess a minimum of one year of acute care experience or two years in a licensed healthcare role, along with successful completion of the NCLEX examination.
- Current Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license is essential.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC is required upon hire.
- Specialty certification is highly encouraged within two years of employment.
Work Environment
This position is situated within the Nursing Program Care for Surgical Urology department, emphasizing a full-time commitment with a standard weekly schedule of 40 hours.
