KEY HIGHLIGHTS:


The Paramedic Technician (EMT) is responsible for responding to both urgent and non-urgent medical requests, ensuring high-quality patient care, treatment, and customer service in a timely, professional, safe, and cost-effective manner, adhering to established protocols and company policies.

Various shift options are available, with overtime included in every shift configuration. Opportunities exist to work on a Critical Care Transport unit and participate in various Special Events throughout the region, including professional sports events.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Maintain a thorough understanding of evolving medical treatment protocols, response requirements, quality assurance procedures, local Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and other company policies.

Ensure complete and accurate documentation of patient assessments and treatments.
Maintain accurate records of patient statistics, billing information, and services provided.

Utilize medical equipment effectively, including gurneys, airway equipment, IVs, splints, bandages, and medications, to deliver appropriate emergency medical care.

Communicate with empathy and compassion while interviewing patients, their families, bystanders, and other service agency members.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Experience:
Must be at least 18 years old; prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.

Education:
High school diploma or GED.

Credentials/Licenses:
Valid Driver's License, State EMT certification, and CPR/BLS certifications. Driving record must comply with AMR Safety and Driving policy.

Salary Range:
$23.18 per hour, depending on experience (This rate applies to 12-hour shifts and averages 42 hours per week).
