We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team at CHSGa. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the planning, development, and direction of our long-term care nursing services department.
Key Responsibilities- Department Leadership: Assist with the planning and directing of nursing staff activities, and establish and oversee standards for quality patient care and safety.
- Financial Management: Participate in the development of annual financial plans and monitor expenditures in accordance with financial plan allocations and guidelines.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in Performance Improvement and Quality Assurance initiatives and activities.
- Education and Experience: A current license as a Registered Nurse from the Georgia State Nursing Board and at least two years of supervisory work experience in a rehabilitative or restorative nursing environment.
- Skills and Abilities: Embrace the standards, values, and beliefs of CHSGa, possess the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, and be capable of maintaining effective working relationships with patients, family members, department heads, and fellow staff.
- Competitive Compensation: A competitive wage scale from $40 - $47/hr.
- Benefits Package: Medical and dental insurance, 401K with company match, seven paid holidays, and ten PTO days in the first year.
