About Us
We are a comprehensive small animal clinic focusing on preventative and wellness care. Our mission is to ensure outstanding patient care through the highest standards of veterinary medicine, a devoted team, and exceptional client service.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive compensation package that includes:
- A salary of at least $100,000 for a workweek of less than 40 hours
- A $50,000 Student Loan Repayment Option
- Relocation and/or Sign-on bonuses
- A comprehensive benefits package including health and dental insurance, liability coverage, retirement plans, professional dues, and a continuing education stipend.
Facility Features
Our modern facility, established in 2005, includes:
- A spacious treatment area and surgery suite
- Six examination rooms
- Separate wards for dogs and cats
- Full in-house laboratory capabilities with advanced diagnostic tools
- Digital radiology and ultrasound services
- Cold laser therapy and a complete pharmacy.
Role Responsibilities
The Associate Animal Care Specialist will:
- Build rapport with clients to understand their needs and wishes
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and perform medical, surgical, and dental procedures
- Communicate findings and treatment plans effectively to clients
- Maintain accurate medical records and logs
- Stay updated with advancements in veterinary medicine through continuing education.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a veterinary practice
- A valid license to practice in the state of employment
- Strong decision-making and communication skills
- A commitment to the highest standards of veterinary ethics and care.
