Job Summary

SSM Health is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team in the Emergency Department. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our staff to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Diagnosis: Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health and situation, and analyze this data to determine the diagnosis or issues.
  • Developing Care Plans: Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient or situation, and implement, coordinate, and educate to promote health and a safe practice environment.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively in a variety of formats in all areas of practice, and demonstrate leadership in the professional practice setting and the profession.
  • Professional Development: Attain knowledge and competence that reflect current nursing practice, and apply the existing body of evidence-based practice and scientific knowledge in healthcare to Emergency Nursing practice.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
  • Experience: No experience required.
  • License and Certifications: Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA), Registered Nurse (RN) Issued by Compact State, Registered Nurse (RN) - Oklahoma Board of Nursing (OBN), and Advanced Life Support (ALS) - American Heart Association (AHA) or other relevant certifications.
