We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Diagnostic Cardiology team at Ascension Macomb. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct nursing care to patients, implement and monitor patient care plans, and coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure well-coordinated patient care, including physicians, therapists, and other nursing staff.
- Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs, ensuring a smooth transition to post-acute care.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS Provider certification required within 1 month of hire date.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing required.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire.
- Busy IAC accredited NIC department experience preferred.
- ACLS certification within a month of hire.
