Speech Language Pathologist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Academy School District 20. This position offers a unique blend of a smaller practice within a rewarding school schedule.

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will have the opportunity to work with students with speech and language disorders, developing and implementing treatment plans to address their individual needs. You will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to promote students' academic and social success.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders, a Colorado Department of Education License, and state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology. Experience in a school-based setting is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments and provide therapy to students with speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address students' individual needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to promote students' academic and social success
  • Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
