Job Title: Nurse Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Nurse Manager to lead and manage a team of nurses, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and promoting a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of nurses, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement nursing care plans, ensuring they are aligned with patient needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to plan, implement, and monitor the nursing care delivery system.
  • Ensure adequate staffing levels and schedule nursing personnel to meet patient care needs.
  • Conduct performance appraisals and provide feedback to staff to promote professional growth and development.
  • Maintain current knowledge of nationally recognized standards of care and evidence-based nursing practice.
  • Educate staff on current and new policies and procedures.
  • Promote a culture of safety, communication, and satisfaction for patients and staff.
  • Manage financial and capital resources to support the fiscal viability of the organization.
  • Participate in organizational committees and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Currently licensed in New York State as a Registered Nurse.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing required, Master of Science in Nursing preferred.
  • Three to five years' acute care experience preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal relationships, effective communication skills, and ability to problem-solve.
  • Ability to motivate, develop, and coach individuals and groups.
  • Strong commitment to furthering institutional performance measures through interdisciplinary teamwork.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to push/pull, lift/move 35 lb.
  • Ability to perform moderately difficult manual manipulations such as using a keyboard, writing, and filing for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to comprehend the spoken English language and communicate and read the English language.
Salary Range:

$41.30-$61.94/hour

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
