About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Central Maine Medical Center. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative and clinical support to our healthcare team
  • Assist with patient care, including vital signs, injections, and other medical procedures
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Medical Assistant program
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)
  • One year of experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
