Role Responsibilities

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for ensuring high-quality, patient-focused care and the coordination of all unit functions during assigned shifts. Collaborating with the management team, the CNC oversees nursing care in line with established protocols, serves as a resource for staff, and embodies the organization's mission and values to enhance patient experiences and clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Facilitating patient admissions and discharges to promote efficient care delivery.
  • Engaging in continuous assessment of patient care quality in collaboration with management.
  • Fostering teamwork and collaboration to enhance service and outcomes.
  • Promoting a patient-centered approach and addressing service recovery when needed.
  • Implementing nursing strategies to boost staff engagement and operational efficiency.
  • Contributing to the recruitment, training, and development of new staff members.
  • Managing staff schedules and labor resources in accordance with patient care requirements.
  • Overseeing inventory management and supply procurement.

Qualifications Required:

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 60 days of employment.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Current Registered Nurse license.
  • Bachelor's Degree, Associate Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma.
